Effect of Liquid Bioinoculants on Growth and Biomass of Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) and Methi (Trigonella foenum-graecum) under Greenhouse Conditions

Abstract:

A greenhouse experiment was undertaken to study the effect of liquid bio fertilizer on growth of coriander and methi. The research was conducted at Department of Agricultural Microbiology, UAS. GKVK, Bangalore. There were eight treatments and replicated thrice in CRD design. Liquid bioinoculants used in this study were viz., Azotobacter chroococcum, Bacillus megaterium, Frateuria aurantia, Psuedomonas fluorescens, Bacillus subtilis and Trichoderma viridae as single inoculation and also as consortia and different plant parameters was recorded. These parameters were significantly higher in the treatment with consortia of all liquid biofertilizers compare to single inoculation and control.
