Influence of INM Practices on Overall Growth, Yield and Economics of Andrographis paniculata (Kalmegh) in Pongamia Based Agri-Silvi System

Abstract:

An experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2013 with eight different treatments consisting of integration of both organic and inorganic fertilizers in Andrographis paniculata intercropped in Pongamia based Agri silvi system to find out best treatment under Southern Telangana agro climatic zone of Andhra Pradesh. The results revealed that the T8 (50% RDF + 50% Neem cake) has given highest plant height (76.9 cm) and even leaf area per plant (217.4 cm2), Dry matter production (503.6 gm-2), Fresh (2968 kg ha-1) and dry (2078 kg ha-1) herbage yield
