A field experiment was conducted during the Kharif season of 2024–25 at the Research Farm of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh), to evaluate the effect of foliar application of boron (B) and molybdenum (Mo) on growth, yield, and soil health of mungbean (Vigna radiata L.). The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with nine treatments comprising different concentrations of boron (0, 0.2, and 0.4%) and molybdenum (0, 0.4, and 0.8%) along with recommended dose of fertilizers. The results revealed that combined foliar application of boron and molybdenum significantly improved growth parameters, yield attributes, and seed yield over control. The maximum seed yield (9.75 g plant⁻¹) and improved nodulation were recorded under treatment T5 (B 0.2% + Mo 0.4%). Post-harvest soil analysis indicated an increase in available nitrogen and micronutrient status under combined application. The synergistic effect of boron and molybdenum enhanced nitrogen fixation, nutrient uptake, and overall productivity of mungbean. Therefore, foliar application of boron (0.2%) and molybdenum (0.4%) can be recommended for improving yield and soil health under Bundelkhand conditions.
