Abstract:

A 2 years old domestic shorthair tom was presented with history of unknown blunt trauma which led to intestinal prolapse. Upon clinical examination, part of the prolapsed intestinal tissue was necrotic. The case was unusual and treated surgically under general anaesthesia. Intestinal resection and anastomosis followed by colopexy was done to prevent recurrence. The case recovered uneventfully.
