A deliberation of a group of young men and their passion to serve the society made a voluntary organization called GUARD. Now this is providing services to over districts of Telangana State of India. The society for Genesis Urban and Rural Development was registered as Non-profitable and Non Governmental Organization under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, India. This society is working for improvement of rural society with effective use of Science and Technology and providing services. Capacity building for informed decision making in the community and promote national thinking and GUARD devoted towards societal upliftment through dissemination of scientific knowledge in an informal manner building programmes which percolate down to every nook and corner of the society.
GUARD has organized a two days National Conference on Emerging Challenges and Opportunities in Agriculture, Social, Plant, Environment, Co-operatives & Technology (ECOASPECT-2016) on September, 2016 at IIRR, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, India.
The focal themes of the conference were:

Theme 6. Startups in Agriculture & plans and policies on bridging the digital divide
Theme 7. Towards an equitable, mechanized, clima smart and profitable Agriculture
