The present investigation was carried out during winter (Rabi) season to study the effect of different spacing and nitrogen levels on growth of red cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Capitata sub-var. Red Ruby). The field trails was laid in 3×4 factorial R.B.D. having three spacing (45×30cm, 45×45cm and 455×60 cm) and four levels of nitrogen (0, 60, 120 and 180 kg/ ha), making a total 12 treatment combinations, each replicated three times. The allocation of treatments to the individual plots was done using random numbers in each replication. The three spacing tried here, S1 significantly dominated others, and of the four nitrogen levels tried N3 was found to be significantly in all the growth parameters of the 12 treatment combinations, S1N3 emerged as significantly best interaction for growth capacity of red cabbage var. red ruby.
