Abstract:

A pot experiment was conducted during Rabi 2017-18 at department of soil science and agricultural chemistry Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra to investigate the effect of soil application of zinc fertilizer on wheat to increase the available macro and micro nutrients. The levels of zinc sulphate with RDF were T1-RDF (80:40:40 NPK) kg ha-1, T2-RDF+ZnSO4 10 kg ha-1, T3-RDF+ZnSO4 20 kg ha-1, T4-RDF+ZnSO4 30 kg ha-1, T5 -RDF+ZnSO4 40 kg ha-1, T6 -RDF+ZnSO4 (0.5%) Two foliar sprays first at pre flowering and second at milk stage and T7 -RDF+ZnSO4 (1.0%) Two foliar sprays first at pre flowering and second at milk stage. The T4 is influence the available macro and micro nutrients. It is recommended that under such moderately calcareous soil conditions soil application of zinc sulphate 30 kg ha-1 + RDF at the time of sowing recorded influence the available macro and micro nutrients after harvest of wheat.
