A field experiment was conducted during kharif season 2016-17 to study the effect of potassium levels on growth, yield and quality parameters of green gram. The growth and yield attributes like plant height, leaf area, number of nodules, fresh weight of nodules, total biomass production, number of pods, seed yield and dry matter yield were significantly improved by the application of potassium and micronutrient along with RDF. The seed protein content and test weight increased by application of potassium with either Grade I or Grade II micronutrient along with RDF. It was inferred from the results that application of 25 kg N, 50 kg P2O5, 25 kg or 50 kg K2O ha-1 + Grade I or Grade II micronutrient fertilizer found superior to only N and P application i.e. RDF (25:50 kg N and P2O5 ha-1).
