A field experiment was conducted during Kharifof 2018-19 at KrishiVigyan Kendra farm raichur, Karnataka under TBP irrigation command area to study the economic attributes of Bt cotton using sequential application of herbicides in weed management. The experiment includes 11 treatments having three PRE (metolachlor, diuron, pendimethalin) applied twice at 45 and 60 DAS and one POST (pyrithiobac sodium) appliedat 60 DAS in sequence with PRE herbicides and also consist of weed free check (two hand weeding @ 15 and 30 DAS fb IC at 45, 60 and 75 DAS) and weedy check. Weed free check was found superior over all other treatments in all the parameters except B: C ratio (2.80)and due to higher cost of cultivation (48894Rs ha-1). Among herbicidal treatments metolachlor 50 % EC @ 1000 g a.i.ha-1as PRE fb Pyrithiobacsodium 10EC @ 125 ga.i. ha-1 as POE @ 2-5 leaf stages of weeds fb IC @ 60DAS was recorded higher net retutns (90332Rs ha-1), gross returns (139226Rs ha-1) and B: C ratio (2.85) with the gaining of higher seed cotton yield (2578kg ha-1). Weedy check was recorded lower B: C ratio (1.61) and lower net returns (27050) over all other treatments.
