Scaling with Paired Compression Method for Entrepreneurship Skills of Rural Youth in Agricultural Sector

Abstract:

A method paired comparison is adapted for use in estimating priorities of entrepreneur skills for rural youth. The method elicits multiple binary choices for paired items in a choice set. Entrepreneurship skills are an individual’s ability to make business in a profit way. In this paper looking at the skills of the rural youth the stimuli created in order to reveal the items of the scale harmonized with each other. In the analysis of the data, the scale values were obtained first human resource management skills to least economic skills. In conclusion, it can be said that consistency between items are slightly high.
