Abstract:

The animal was sedated with Xylazine hydrochloride and the area was desensitized by infiltrating 2% lignocaine hydrochloride. The hernial ring was closed by polyglactin 910 No.2 with simple interrupted suture pattern. Animal was recovered uneventfully and was discharged on 10th post-operative day after removal of skin sutures.
