Role of Gene Expression Techniques in Fisheries and Aquaculture

Abstract:

The exploited wild stocks should be confessed to biodiversity and genomic study to find out genetic variation and identification of fish stocks with reference to morphological, biological and physiological traits. Transcription reveals that transfer of DNA to mRNA. Translation exposes that transfer of mRNA to protein. These genetic changes can be assessed by several gene expression techniques which pave to identify the particular organisms upto species level which helps to find out native/exotic species abundance.
